My engagement announcement photographs.
We tried to use the beautiful nature and light together to create bright and colorful photographs to showcase how we felt.
To capture these moments was an amazing moment and I’m glad I was able to use my photography skills in a successful and meaningful way.
Logos created for https://rphproducts.com/. A company based on providing tailored building solutions that meet their unique needs. They required a new logo and color scheme to relate a new image to their customers. A simple but solid design was chosen by them to solidify what they strive for their customers.
Followed by some of their other products and the logos I made to have separate sections they can build off of. Then after are the alternates created to give them choices.
μαντεία = divination
I took this term and created a theme about being a “-mancer.” A practitioner of a specific type of divination. A user of a specified type of magic.
My Senior Capstone project of taking portraits and editing them to create a magical art piece that shows a certain element being wielded. The idea stemmed from some of my personal pieces.
It was a fun challenge to try and figure out the poses, location, and theme that matched each individual and how it would look with their magic in the end.
Stressed hoodie/t-shirt design created for Natural Waterscapes.
The design was based on the concept of what a lot of the customers strived for, a picturesque landscape to look out on through a window.
The design was inspired by the WPA-style artworks that were used for National Park posters and designs of the mid-1900s.
Whenever I do portraits of someone I always try to capture how they view themselves or how I see them. The light in their eye, how their mood or feelings affect them when looking at me, or how they feel at that moment.
I love finding interesting light and shadows when posing someone and how they move and wrap around a person’s body or face. To better highlight the different aspects of a person’s face that make them so unique.
Coca-Cola Redesigns in different styles from throughout art history.
Constructivism - The usage of full hues of red and black with strong shapes and lines to try and showcase those feelings of propaganda in Soviet Russia.
Golden Age - The period referred to as the Golden Age of advertising had a theme of big bold words with catchy slogans or phrases. The ad’s use of a plain background with a clever photo or design gets the reader’s attention and pushes some type of feeling or meaning onto them.
Art Deco - The flat colors with highly detailed or busy designs grab the reader’s attention to showcase how wonderful and fantastical the product is being advertised. The design also uses strong wording to get the point across as quickly as possible.
Engagement photograph session with a couple located in Northern VA. The main goal on my end was to try and show the love and warmth they had with each other to everyone else viewing the photographs. The contrast between their poses and the vibrant backgrounds was a fun event to be a part of.
Mural painting for Natural Waterscapes on one of the shipping containers used for storage on site. The project goal was to turn the blank, yellow shipping container into a beautiful landscape so that customers and drivers would notice the company as they drove by on the interstate highway. The idea was to create a colorful landscape with a Bass fish as the subject to catch a viewers eye.
The 2022 Natural Waterscape yearly catalog. The front page was designed to give the recipient a sense of calm and they wanted to have a waterscape like what is shown here.
The usage of hierarchy of scale and placement was very important throughout the catalog in deciding where the limited information could be placed to give an effective layout. The balance between informative paragraphs, prices and products, and the design elements was crucial and a difficult thing to play with.
Some of my personal works throughout the years of me learning better photography and photo editing techniques. I enjoy using special effect techniques with smoke or other materials with a focus on dramatic lighting and settings.
A few of the Mock-ups that I made up to help further the designing of Koi-Life store pages.
The focus was to push the color and fish onto the main design and backgrounds even more. To separate these products from all the other competition by making them stand out and pop on a normal storefront like Amazon.
